Zach Sims is the Co-Founder and CEO of Codecademy, the “leading online education company closing the skills gap by teaching programming.”

Founded in August 2011, Codecademy it attracted 200,000 users with no marketing on its launch weekend, and today counts more than 45 million users, including President Obama and New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg.

Codecademy has been named a TIME “Top 50 Website” and as a “World Economic Forum Technology Pioneer.” The company has raised $45.5 million in capital from top-tier investors such as KPCB, Union Square Ventures, Index Ventures, Sir Richard Branson and Yuri Milner.

Zach has received numerous accolades for his work at Codecademy, including being named by TIME Magazine as one of the “100 Most Influential People of 2013,” and in both Forbes and Inc.’s “30 Under 30” lists.
