Murray Thom is the Founder of Thom Productions, recently named in "The Top 10 Entrepreneurs Of The Decade" by NZ Business magazine.

After leaving school at 15 with no qualifications, Murray worked as a sales rep at CBS Records and by the age of just 23 had become the youngest Managing Director of a CBS in the world.

He then went on to start Thom Music (now called Thom Productions), which has produced numerous globally-acclaimed pieces of work, including The Great New Zealand Songbook, The Great New Zealand Cookbook, and The Great Australian Songbook, to name just a few. Two of his productions, Together and Miracle, famously appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show, with Together being named her "Favorite Thing Of The Year" in 2001.
