Katia Beauchamp is the Co-Founder and CEO of Birchbox, the beauty destination for the “casual beauty consumer,” and the company credited with starting the rise of subscription delivery services.


Founded in 2010, Birchbox hit its five-year plan in just seven months, and within a year of launching had amassed 45,000 subscribers and $10.5 million in seed funding. By year four the company had grown to 800,000 subscribers, which equated to nearly $100 million in annual subscription revenue alone.


Today Birchbox has more than 2.5 million active customers, 500 beauty and grooming brand partners, and operations in six countries.


Katia has been honored with accolades including Advertising Age Women to Watch, CEW Achiever’s Award, Fortune 40 Under 40, Inc. 30 Under 30, WWD Digital Innovator of the Year, Marie Claire’s New Guard List and YMA Fashion’s Entrepreneur of the Year, among others.


Katia holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.A. in International Studies & Economics from Vassar College. Prior to graduating business school, she worked in structured finance and commercial real estate.
