#39- The Shaming Behind Purity Culture with Radiant Style

In today's episode I had the opportunity to sit down with Radiant Style (tiktok name) to listen to her experiences of being in a Christian religious group, which she and many others, have found to be culty and controlling. Furthermore, Radiant Style breaks it down for us about how "Purity Culture" was used to shame and control members, especially the women.
While purity was hammered down upon the women and so much focus was given to modesty she noticed that there was a lack of attention on other important issues like morality, consent, boundaries, and the understanding of what it means to be a good person.
