I originally ran across Dr. Kojo on TikTok. He is a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who has built a huge following online talking about mental health. Although Dr. Kojo has spent years working in very intense mental-health situations, he is leading the way showing how to use viral videos and creative content to advocate for mental health and empower his audience through education.

Today we dig into how to use online media to spread messages you care about, why he is on a mission to bring mental health into the entertainment space, and how we can let go of self-judgment as creators and as he puts it, simply do.
