Sam Simmons is an award-winning comedian. In October this year, filming began for Sam’s four-part series Problems, to be broadcast on primetime ABC 1 television in Australia. Last year, Sam's show Meanwhile, a mind-bendingly odd, heart-warming hour that put the mental into experimental comedy, was a five-star success, and saw Sam nominated for the Foster’s Edinburgh Comedy Award. 2010’s Fail journeyed into the mind of a 32-year-old desperado, and proved another smash-hit, marking him out as the alternative to straight-talking stand-up. This followed an amazing year for Sam in 2009, which welcomed the debut of his ABC television series The Urban Monkey With Murray Foote and his inaugural Edinburgh and Sydney Opera House outings. As well as his Edinburgh Festival success this year, Sam has notched up an impressive collection of awards, including the main prize at the Adelaide Fringe 2011 and a nomination for the equivalent at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival 2011.

Pitched somewhere in the no-man's land between psychotic breakdown, ground-breaking genius and outer space, a comedic trip with Sam will explore the furthest reaches of humanity - his and yours.
