Dan Schreiber is a writer, producer, presenter and most notably a funny man. Dan was brought up in Hong Kong and Australia before moving to England, where at just 19 he became a question writer for the BBC TV series QI.

Dan is the co-creator and producer of BBC Radio 4’s highly successful ‘The Museum of Curiosity’, which started in 2008 and is now in its 6th series. Hosted by Blackadder producer John Lloyd, the show has also seen Bill Bailey, Sean Lock and Jon Richardson as guest hosts. The Radio Times review stated that: “It will make you laugh as much as it will make you think. Pornography for the brain!” Dan was a regular panellist on the satirical E4 show, Dirty Digest and is a regular host reporting science funnies for online TV shorts Global Squeeze.

Over the past year, Dan also gigs on the stand-up circuit and has performed at comedy clubs such as Glee, Outside The Box and Crack Comedy and has even supported ‘FolkFace’ on their UK tour, the comedy folk band formed by Dave and Dom from Chris Moyle’s Radio1 breakfast show.

Dan’s extensive repertoire of behind the scenes credits, include heading up Warner Music Entertainment’s comedy arm, executive producing a short Christmas movie entitled ‘A Kitten for Hitler’ with cult director Ken Russell, being a joke collector for Jimmy Carr’s book ‘The Naked Jape’, producing a comedy animation project with Paul McCartney, creating an RDF/Channel Dave pilot starring astronaut Buzz Aldrin, executive producing on ‘Imagine That!’, the internationally bestselling stand-up DVD starring Rhys Darby in which Dan also produced the extras and had a cameo in the show; Sharon Horgan reviewed one of Rhys’ and Dan’s collaborations as “the funniest thing I've ever seen”.
