Join Daniel Nickles and Chris Thompson with their guest Lisa Hylton as they talk about how to build a passive income through tax-efficient real estate investment, how her 1st investment performed in the face of COVID, and how passive and active investors can make use of the Fund to Funds Model. When she was in college, Lisa lost her father to a brain tumor. But despite the hardships, they were able to take care of the family because of her father's multi-unit apartments as a contractor that they run up until now. Her father's legacy instilled in Lisa a seed of investing that she has nourished and grown today.

In this episode you will learn:

Lisa's father being a contractor, allowed what for their family?
How the 1st investment weathered the pandemic in a strong Atlanta area.
What is the Fund to Funds Model?

About Lisa Hylton:

Despite growing up around real estate, Lisa didn't fully understand the value of investing in real estate until her last position working as a controller on private equity real estate funds. The experience ignited her desire to invest in real estate, and she discovered real estate syndications in 2019.

After investing passively in 4 private real estate investments as a passive investor and one private real estate investment as a general partner, Lisa was inspired and motivated to build a business that could provide opportunities to non-institutional investors to invest in private commercial real estate opportunities.

Fast forward 2 years, a combination of passive investing and strategically saving has enabled Lisa to gift herself the time to focus on building a business that allows her to work with dream clients, successful but busy entrepreneurs, and business owners who are looking for a partner to invest in real estate with.
