027: Taking over Social Media and Public Relations with Keaira Turner of KGT Communication, LLC

Hosts Tracy Swain and JaVonne Williams are joined by Keaira Turner of KGT Communication, LLC. In today's episode we learn how Keaira started her business after graduating from college when the job market was not favorable. Keaira turned her lemons into lemonade. She is a determined and inspiring young woman who has an interest in helping up and coming brands. Keaira graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a Bachelors in Communications Studies and obtained her Masters in Media Communication from Webster University.

For over four years, Keaira has worked with independent artists and local small businesses to help maximize their exposure through securing magazines and blog posts and using organic social media posting to gain the attention of their target audience. Keaira decided to take over the Public Relations world and began her own business in 2018. KGT Communication, LLC offers services such as Social Media Management, Media Relations/Public Relations, Event PR Planning, and Brand Development. Alongside running her business, Keaira has been crowned Miss Black Southeast International Ambassador and started her own women empowerment group called the "Inspirational Women Mentorship Group"
