Should we sing hymns and carols or should we sing Psalms?  Even the Reformers had disagreements about how church services should be conducted.  Regardless, hymnody of the time created many moving and uplifting hymns and songs still in use today.  Whether using the Psalms or creating new music, they wrote for the glory of God and uplifting and blessing of our souls.  "The Old 100th" is one such song.
