Presented by LatinHeat Media and La Plaza de La Cultura Y Artes on Saturday, August 25, LATINAFest: Mind, Body and Soul will be a day to celebrate Latinas who are rapidly becoming an economic and social powerhouse in the United States according to the 2017 Nielsen report.
A day to celebrate Latinas, this all-inclusive family event is not just millennials, or Gen X, Gen Z, or baby boomers. It is for all bilingual/ bicultural, and Spanish speaking Latinas from all socio-economic groups; from professionals to blue-collar workers, from students to retirees, all with one thing in common -- our Latinidad.
The outdoor festivities will include a live taping of TheTRENDTalk, which airs on the MEtv Network and reaches 4 million households in LA county; an outdoor festival with live performances, inspirational, music speakers and a chance to visit with the businesses catering to Latinas.
TheTRENDTalk is executive produced by two entrepreneurial women, Bel Hernandez, CEO of Latin Heat Media and author and Naibe Reynoso, Emmy Award Journalist and mother of two. We are proud members of this coveted group and we saw a void in programming in targeting this group, so we created TheTRENDTalk, and now "LATINAFest: Mind, Body and Soul."
