Mark and Matt previously worked together at the Football Association (FA England) as sports scientists in the late 2000's and reconnect to discuss the landscape of the industry 10+ years later.
Matt is now a Senior Lecturer of St Mary's University and Technical Lead of London's Royal Ballet, he somehow finds time to fit in PhD studies soon to be finalised this year 2019. Since working at the FA, Matt has held top roles in high performance at football clubs in the UK (Queens Park Rangers, Watford, Brighton & Hove Albion), and today he shares a few tips to help you become a better sports scientist.
With years of hard work, and a bit of luck he finds himself in a position to advise the next generation of high performance coaches and scientists who'll be managing performance artists and athletes around the world.
