Since the 1970's a short wave radio station from Russia has been broadcasting a series of dull monotonous tones and foghorn like sounds 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Sometimes this is broken up by voices saying strange words like "dhingy" and "farm specialist". No one knows for sure what this radio station is or its purpose. Is it a dead hand signal for Russian nukes? A way to transmit secret messages to Soviet spies?

Mike and Adriana discuss this strange tale and look into the idea of Numbers Stations as a whole. We are talking Cold War, spies, and lots of weird government secrets on this episode!
