EP21 Bobby started out making knives 3 years ago after his wife fell ill, and he had to leave his long term career as a milk machinery technician. He found after some time that he was going stir crazy not being on the tools anymore. As a long term EDC’r he decided he was going to have a go at making a knife. After looking online he found a group that dealt with making knives with recycled materials. Which he has since become an admin of. His first few knives were made from chain saw bar. He also uses pre 1960’s saw mill blades. He has learned to test them and get the best out of a blade. He is a man that is to be looked up to as he puts such energy into true hand made knife making. He talks us through his techniques on how he files his knives to shape and so much more.
