In Luke 7, Jesus was invited to a Pharisees house, but when He came, He was not received kindly by the religious. This was so disheartening that a woman who was outside, came in to the house weeping, and anointed Jesus with her expensive oil. She was so moved by their lack of understanding of who Jesus was, that her tears wet Jesus’s feet, and she subsequently dried them with her hair. She understood the honor that should be given to Jesus, because of the great debt she owed because of her sins. But the religious, didn’t understand the honor that should be given, because they felt that they had their lives were in order. Lets look into this, and see who we relate with more, the woman or the religious Pharisees? And, are we viewing Jesus with enough honor?
