Alex George of GB&D

Alex George is the tour de force behind Carol's Ice Cream, the GB&D food truck, and GB&D restaurant, perhaps the most compelling restaurant in Greenville, SC and that title doesn't come easily. The quality of the food, the ethos, the management of inventory and staff, just a few of the reasons why owners don't sleep well.  The restaurant business is fraught with challenges and the best way to ensure success is a ten to fifteen year journey working for successful restaurants prior to going out on your own. Alex skipped most of those steps and yet he's created a very successful brand in Greenville's west village.
