On episode #49 of Time Out with Tinseltown Mom, I speak with Danny Jordan, a television producer and director who’s worked on a myriad of shows such as Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, Biggest Loser, MasterChef, Deal or No Deal, plus more.

After Danny's daughter was diagnosed with an upper limb difference, he authored The Capables, a book series that puts children, like his daughter, in the hero role to encourage readers to be more inclusive and understanding when it comes to disabilities. Rae’s First Day, is the debut book in the series and it was released earlier this year.

Today Danny’s going to talk about his family’s journey while encouraging other parents, whether disability affects their lives or not.
