If you haven't listened to my previous episode about making a daily highlight, I'll tell you that the reason for doing this experiment is to make each day a little bit special.  I wanted something in between checking all the boxes on a to-do list and creating an amazingly large goal that is so far into the future that it is easy to lose motivation.

I've started writing daily highlights  as a goal for what to accomplish for the day.

In the beginning, it was going great because I was selecting highlights that were time-appropriate.

To be successful with highlights, they work best when they can be accomplished within an hour to an hour and a half.  After a few days, I started messing up my highlights.  I was picking things that were solidly a two to three day amount of work so the sticky note with my highlight just hung out on my computer...mocking me.

My weekday highlight picking got a solid D.  Final verdict...weekday highlights to require improvement.

My weekend highlight picking ability is much better.  I always pick things that involve my family, such as trash-talking my 10-year-old, which I haven't managed to screw up yet.

In conclusion, I will continue to improve my highlight process and share what I find.  As I've said before, this is all a work in progress.
