Julie Lythcott-Haimes, former freshman dean at Standford University, noted in a 2016 TED talk that  "professional success in life, which is what we want for our kids...comes from having done chores as a kid."

But, man alive, it is not easy to get kids involved in household work! It is one million times easier for parents to do the work themselves, especially when the kids are young and inexperienced.

If you, like me, sometimes struggle to get your kids involved in chores, you are in the right place. This short and power-packed episode dives into the why, what, and how of chores. It also provides simple and practical suggestions for how to handle pushback or failure to follow through on tasks.
