You can’t be alive today and not know that plastic, especially single-use plastic, is a huge problem on the planet. Only 9% is recycled and the rest - well we are discovering, a lot of it ends up in the ocean. Today I have the privilege of interviewing Emily Penn, a skipper and ocean advocate who has traveled to the most remote parts of the ocean to witness the microplastics and the damage it’s doing. She also discusses the effects of plastic on human health and her own shock discovery after a test.

Through our discussion, we come to the conclusion that it truly is a desirable situation and all single-use plastic must cease to exist immediately. The positive side of this is there is so much we can all do to help flip this around and to come back to Thrive with Nature. Please join me and enjoy our conversation across the ocean from Bali to the UK.
