LTC is when we take our listener comments and let them “lead the conversation”.  So, we thank you for all of your feedback this week and for giving us plenty to talk about.  Dwija and her husband’s sacrifices are a beautiful witness to all of us, regardless of our state in life.  God is calling us all to sacrifice during our everyday life and get out of our comfort zones so that we can grow in sanctity.  Be encouraged sweet ladies, we are all on a journey and we are on it together and by God’s Grace, we will thrive. Let us take every moment of desolation and ask the Lord, “where are you in this moment?”.

Show Notes:

“destines them to eternity. He therefore, I believe, wants them to attend chiefly to two things, to eternity itself, and to that point of time, which they call the Present. For the Present is the point at which time touches eternity. Of the present moment, and of it only, humans have an experience analogous to the experience which [God] has of reality as a whole; in it alone freedom and actuality are offered them. He would therefore have them continually concerned either with eternity or with the Present–either meditating on their eternal union with, or separation from, Himself, or else obeying the present voice of conscience, bearing the present cross, receiving the present grace, giving thanks for the present pleasure.” –CS Lewis

Scripture –

“23 And Jesus said to his disciples, “Truly, I say to you, it will be hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. 24 Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.” 25 When the disciples heard this they were greatly astonished, saying, “Who then can be saved?” 26 But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” – Matthew 19:23-26
