In this weeks show the boys are joined by psychologist, counselor, and dive master, Magda Kozlowska. We discuss what it’s like being the child of Polish diplomats and how traveling the world effects the development of your mindset. How having wanderlust and the itch to travel compares to a traditional life - and can you have both?

Magda is a psychologist and high school counselor, and we discuss the problems today’s kids have. Specifically the elite kids of international schools. If you’re a privileged kid in Dubai and you forget your homework your personal driver can always drop it off for you.

We get into the state of the education system and throw around some ideas for reform. There seems to be some buds of change trying to blossom, which is music to our ears. Willy wonders how technology will play a role in bringing much needed change.

We discuss psychology and how this is differs across cultures and the DSM manual for diagnosis. Mike wonders if depression exists in the uncontacted tribes of the Amazon? We roundup mental health by discussing how large scale disasters or terrorist events really bring us all together.

Mickey posits a better world where as part of our schooling we disappear into the desert for a few days and roll around on Peyote. Are we missing a “right of passage” into adulthood, and could psychedelics play a role in that. Magda discusses her experience with psychedelics.. starting at the ripe old age of 13 on acid, and progressing to full onto full ayahuasca ceremonies. We also discuss micro-dosing in silicone valley.
