In Part 1 of this episode on This Prof Life, we share the academic journey of Dr. Chinasa Elue. Dr. Elue is an associate professor of educational leadership, Author, Speaker, and Life Coach. In addition to her professional work, she is a wife and mom. Dr. Elue began her career at a research one institution, the dream job for many academics. The dream soon became the stuff of nightmares. She tells us how her experience was so challenging that at one point, it put her health at risk. She almost left the academy. Instead Dr. Elue decided to leave the position and continue her love of teaching at an institution that welcomed and embraced her, leading to her a contented work life.
