Welcome back to a new episode of “This One Thing.” This week Kerri Kenyon Dern and Crystal Wright examine the faithfulness of God proclaimed by the prophet Isaiah, and discuss the hope that comes from putting our trust in Him. Isaiah 25:9 says, “In that day they will say, ‘Surely this is our God; we trusted in him, and he saved us. This is the LORD, we trusted in him; let us rejoice and be glad in his salvation.’”
Trusting and waiting on the LORD is an act of faith that every follower of the Most High God must face. But how do we choose to be unwavering in our trust when everything in our world comes against the commitment we have made to wait and hope in God's Salvation? Isaiah reminds us that our current confidence in the faithfulness of God comes through remembering what he has done in the past and looking ahead to the glorious future awaiting us. God has not failed us in the past, He will not abandon us in the present, and He has a perfect plan for our future. Kerri and Crystal share how they chose to apply this truth in their lives as they face suffering and spiritual needs the world has no answer for. Because of God's perfect faithfulness, they invite you to put your hopeful trust in the only Savior who will never disappoint!
