This Is (Not) It

60 episodes - English - Latest episode: over 5 years ago - ★★★★★ - 14 ratings

An exploration of the things that make us think, for an intense but finite period, "Yes. This. This is the thing for me, the thing I've been searching for. THIS IS IT.
Hobbies, career aspirations, relationships, workout plans, spiritual practices, diets, sexual pursuits, hairstyles, clothing. Whatever the thing, we are SURE it is it.
And then, time passes. Our interest fades, our passion subsides. Gradually, one way or another, we come to realize, it was not the thing at all. This was not it.
Each week, we talk with a new guest about a different thing that they were absolutely certain, at the time, was IT. @thisisnotitpod Hosted by Matt Wyatt @attentiondoozers
