In this episode Ruth spoke to Robin Winkels founding member of Row to Recovery Galway, a cancer recovery group which takes place on the river Corrib. Robin speaks about not only the physical benefits of rowing for cancer survivors but also the mental and emotional gains that people experience from taking part in the group. She also speaks about what she has gained personally from being around such inspiring people taking part in an outdoor activity that she loves.

We are always happy to meet people in person who need some more assistance – once you register with us, and if you don’t apply for any volunteer role, we will contact you to make an appointment.
