It is easy to see professional athletes as superhuman, invincible people who do not struggle with the same issues that us mere mortals face. This week we are joined by 4 time World Champion Chris 'Macca' McCormack and we discuss the role that weight had throughout his career. Macca is incredibly honest about how his weight has changed after retiring and the role it played when he raced. Macca gives advice for everyone on how to manage your weight around performance.

We tried to go beyond the traditional Macca stories and instead focus on the obsessions and challenges that plague not only Chris, but play on everyones mind. Macca talks about being told he was too big and too thick and it wasn't until he worked out how to tune his weight to suit his performance that he was able to prove others wrong.

Obviously it worked for him and he shares his information so that all of you are able to learn from it!

We also announce how you can win a free entry into the Port of Tauranga Half in January next year.

Seriously, this is a really great episode full of amazing information so we hope you get a lot out of it!
