My conversation today is with the delightful Adun Okupe (Ph.D.): An Economist, Accountant, and Tourism expert.

I’ve had childhood curiosity and excitement about the opportunities available in the Nigerian/African Tourism industry, and our conversation gave me the opportunity to discuss some of them with a good friend who is also an expert on these topics.

We discussed the basic issues of Culture, Festivals, and Economics of tourism. As well as the Impacts of insecurity, Environmental and Climate Change on tourism. These are some of the challenges that need to resolve in order to be able to take advantage of tourism to develop our communities and countries.
