My guest in today’s episode of the Think BIG for Africa Podcast is an Education Economist: Lala Fatima Jaiteh. She is a senior research officer at the Ministry of Higher Education, Research, Science, and Technology of The Gambia. Lala obtained her Master's degree in China, which I believe will become a favorite destination for education for many Africans in the near future.

We discussed various issues; experiences studying in China during the outbreak of the pandemic, Education Economics, translating economics theories to policy and practice, challenges to education and research, and high unemployment and low GDP in The Gambia.
