In today’s episode, I have a returning guest; Ifeyinwa Favour Ezeifedi to discuss Mental Ill-Health in the black and African communities. This is a very important topic that affects every  one of us.

Favour is a joint Service Lead in East London NHS Foundation Trust for Child Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS)

She explained that 1 in 4 people will suffer some kind of mental ill-health in their life, the different kinds of mental ill-health, how to help people with mental health difficulties. We also discussed why black people are less willing to acknowledge and seek help for mental ill-health, the myths, triggers and early warning signs, and how to look after your mental health.

This is a great discussion, and I encourage you to listen, share with family and friends and subscribe to the Think BIG for Africa Podcast on your favorite podcast platform.

Enjoy!
