How to achieve multidimensional success! You want it all, the family, the money, the success, the fulfilment, the presence of mind, the giving attitude, the joy and the legacy. I get it.

But how does it happen?

In this episode I talk to WSJ best selling Author and speaker Alex Demczak and this is the exact conversation and question I pose to Alex.

How do we create success, wealth, abundance, land the BIG sale and be there for our family, manage our time, keep our commitments and show up where it matters?

Alex is remarkable. His story is powerful, life changing and resonates deeply!

Alex starts this podcast with a powerful story.

In his junior year of college he was cut as quarterback of the Missouri Tigers and then suddenly overnight his dream was over. Imagine that, everything you lived for and thought about daily, gone.

Alex says what stood out was the humility of the situation. He went through it and came out stronger, more self aware and ready for his real mission in life.

Of course when it happened he went through a range of emotions like feeling shame when he got cut, it wasn't fun, he didn't want to tell this story, to dig up the details, it takes vulnerability but what transpired was, when you lead with your weakness first, it builds trust and connection and transforms lives.

I am so honoured to have him on the show and really glad he share this impactful story the way he did.

"People are impressed by your highlights but they resonate with your weaknesses".

"It's doesn't matter your title and your position, but what matters is how you show up every single day".

"You never know how you'll be used from those trials in your life"

We talk about the beauty in the trail, how to deal with struggles and how it translates to leadership.

Alex went through the hardest year of his life and it built the foundation for the rest of his life.

Alex lives by this quote "comparison is the thief of joy"

"Every moment we spend comparing our life to others we are robbing ourselves of joy" - such a powerful statement from Alex.

"We are blessed to be a blessing"

Alex Co-Authored The Sale with Jon Gordon.

It's a business fable called The Sale, the main guy, Matt is killing it at work, but at home he's not present, in fact his wife Kendra wants a divorce.

Matt has the chance to make the sales of a lifetime, a commission worth $7 million but he needs to wrestle with a decision that challenges his integrity in some major ways, turning a blind eye.

Alex is Author of Thrive U and Co-Author of The Sale, Co-Founder of Streamline books, helping you unleash your story to the world. If you've got a story to tell and want to write a book but aren't sure how, get in touch.
