Jack Carr is a retired Navy SEAL sniper and author. He is best known for his thriller novels, which often feature protagonist James Reece, a former Navy SEAL sniper who becomes a CIA operative. Carr's books have been praised for their accuracy in depicting military tactics and for their gripping storytelling.
After leaving the Navy, Carr turned to writing and published his debut novel, "The Terminal List," in 2018. The book became a bestseller and was followed by "True Believer" in 2019 and "Savage Son" in 2020. His fourth book, "The Devil's Hand," was released in 2021.
Carr is also a co-founder of Mission Critical, a charity that supports the families of fallen special operations personnel.
