Prof Anna Barney

In episode 15 of the T&S Podcast we catch up with Prof Anna Barney who is the Associate Dean Education within Engineering and Physical Sciences at the University of Southampton. In 2019 Anna was appointed Pro Vice-Chancellor (education). Since then she has been working closely with Professor Alex Neill, the University’s Vice-President (Education) to further develop and deliver the University’s education strategy, initially with a particular focus on embedding processes to enhance the quality of its programmes. In our conversation we get some rich insights into her educational philosophy and what it is like to be a senior education leader at Southampton.
