CITGO Fueling Education ChallengeCITGO Fueling Education ChallengeClosing Date: 3/22/2021 Grades: 5-8

Participating as individuals or groups of 2-4, students in grades 5-8 are asked to identify a community problem and submit a 1–2-minute video discussing a solution aligned to one of the four following United Nations Sustainable Development Goals: safety and well-being, quality education, sustainable cities and communities, and life on land.

The Fueling Education Challenge extends the CITGO Fueling Education partnership program with Discovery Education, which paves the way for the next generation of STEM leaders. Through educator resources, student challenges, and dynamic video content, Fueling Education hopes to fuel the spirit of innovation in students everywhere.

Stanley Black & Decker Making for Good ChallengeStanley Black & Decker Making for Good Challenge Closing Dates: 1/28/2021 Grades: 9-12

Working individually or in teams of 2-4, students in grades 9-12 are challenged to develop a unique product design solution that either meets an underserved societal or environmental need. To enter their idea, participants must submit a 60-90 second video outlining their solution and how it meets the need they are acting to solve.

CITGO and Discovery Education launched Fueling Education to pave the way for the next generation of STEM leaders. Through educator resources, student challenges, and dynamic video content, Fueling Education hopes to fuel the innovation spirit in students everywhere.
