This adaption of the 1986 Stephen King novel, It, intended to be the first instalment in a planned duology, is directed by Andy Muschietti and stars Bill Skarsgard as Pennywise the Dancing Clown.
A group of outcast preteens fight against an immortal, shape-shifting entity that takes on different forms depending on its victims’ worst fear. Children in their town are going missing. They must destroy It, whilst confronting their own personal demons.
How does this theatrical version compare to the novel and to the 1990 miniseries? Do we miss Tim Curry? How awesome are these kids? Does Pennywise dance? And what’s the deal with the orgy?
