As we enter the last half term of the academic year, NQTs are the main focus of interviews.
But how do make sure your interview allows you to see the teacher they potentially could be?
Jude Hunton is the trust-wide vice-principal of a secondary school in Northamptonshire, part of the David Ross Education Trust (DRET) academy chain.
Here explains how he approaches interviewing teachers applying for NQT positions, and describes how to tailor the process to suit the emerging teacher they are, in order to ascertain what sort of teacher they could be.
