Damien is currently ranked #55 in the World Ranking for Golfers with Disability (WR4GD) and has held a handicap as low as 5 !!

Damien served as a Commando in the Australian Army for 4 years, but While on night patrol in Afghanistan in April 2009, the vehicle he was in ran over an improvised explosive device, suffering wounds to his face, arms and legs; the damage to his legs was so severe that they were amputated.

Throughout the episode Damien talks us through his Journey so far and the amazing life has lived since he left the Australian Army. His drive and determination to make the most of everyday is something to behold and we are sure every listener will be motivated and moved by his grit .
