TTC #226 The Benefits of Interoperability in eHealth Systems

We discuss with Dr. Alexander Hoerbst, Head of the eHealth Research & Innovation Unit at the University of Health Sciences in Austria, interoperability needs on a European and national level; why he considers the EU framework a good base to start from and what organisations need to do in order to help companies comply with the European Interoperability Framework. He suggests actions for eHealth companies in order to compete in international markets and mentions the three basic outcomes from the STOA eHealth meeting held December 1st, 2015.
