In this special episode of Tech For Good Live, the team embarked on a trip to a wonderfully sunny Leeds, to meet the team from The Digital Cooperative Development Consortium (DCDC)
while they ran the Coop Hack, a two day ethical tech hackathon as part of Cooperative Fortnight 2019.
DCDC is a cooperative body built with technology at its heart (a platform coop). They dream of a future where software is created collaboratively and distributed frictionlessly, a future where tech companies operate fairly and transparently, and a future where technology empowers individuals, by protecting the privacy and self-sovereignity of their data.
On the podcast we're joined by Benjamin Babik, Co-Founder & Technical Architect at DCDC. He talks to us about what happened at the hack, how DCDC got started, and his hopes for cooperative technology in the future.
