Joining Team Lally in this episode is Investment Advisor Bill McRoberts. Bill talks about what brought him to Hawaii after growing up in New Jersey and marrying his wife in Colorado in the 70s. 

He also talks about how his career transitioned and what made him focus on certified divorce financial analysis. He goes on to discuss about how real estate transactions play a big part in any type of Divorce settlement.  He give advice to people who may be going through a divorce settlement and the best time to reach out to a financial adviser like himself.

Who is Bill McRoberts?

Bill McRoberts is a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst. He’s had his own financial planning practice since the early 80s. Bill came to Hawaii in 1970 right out of college after completing his BA Chemistry with a minor in Math. He has dabbled in Real Estate as a licensed agent and also became licensed to sell securities.

He is a long standing member of the Hawaii Estate Planning Council and was one of the three “founding fathers” of the Hawaii Society for Certified Financial Planners. (He has been active in the local financial circles for over 30 years.)
