Robin talks about being born in Johannesburg, South Africa during Apartheid, before migrating to America in the 1980s, and eventually meeting his to be wife after moving to Hawauu.  He also speaks about Kōkua Sun Care, a company he started 5 years ago, which is committed to creating safe natural sunscreen formulas using Hawaii grown antioxidant ingredients.

Who is Robin Van Niekerk?

Robin Van Niekerk is the owner of Kōkua Sun Care. Robin was born in Johannesburg, South Africa during Apartheid, before migrating to America in the 1980s.  He is a sailor, Scuba diver, avid hiker, sunscreen supplier, world traveller and amateur MC.

Started 5 years ago as Aloha Mama Sun Care, we changed our name to Kokua to reflect our care for our customers and the environment.
