This week we have a slightly different format, Willem shows and talks through a presentation prepared for Masters' degree students of an international communications school, about Food & Beverage Marketing Trends in the age of COVID-19. 


Like last week, It's a bit long but worth it. We begin with mugs and t-shirts as we do every week, and then I jump in the presentation, organising it around a classic three act story structure, we go over what playful strategy is, foundational bases about briefs in the communications industry, the impact of the pandemic, the protests, a message from my brother Björn van der Horst (a chef and F&B professional), we continue with inspiring trends in the food industry, and the concept of designing for extremes.
