Batman is not really a superhero.  He doesn't have superior speed or strength. He is just a man... who, despite experiencing personal tragedy, uses his resources to fight against corruption, and protect those who are most in need.

And that’s the key right there. Batman, despite repeated adversity, continues to fight for good.  He is the epitome of resilience, persistence and courage.

Building resilience gives us the tools to combat, effectively manage, and cope with, stressors we face on a daily basis. Resilient people have the ability to adapt successfully in the face of stress and adversity. And, someone who hasn’t built up their resilience, has a decreased ability to combat stress. And we've now made the link between virtually all chronic illnesses and stress. So, having tools to combat stress is critically important!

In this episode, I share about something super cool called, "The Batman Effect" and how it can help the Little Brains around us (and ourselves) build resilience and help strengthen our brain health and mental well-being.
