One of my biggest inspirations in business and mindset is Amy McLaren, author of Passion to Purpose, and today I'm sharing some key takeaways from her podcast episode about getting out of your comfort zones, overcoming self-doubt, and taking action on the things you love.

Amy and her husband, Stu McLaren, are two of my biggest influences in business, entrepreneurship, integrity, and how to use your passion to make an impact. I especially identify with Amy, because she has a background in teaching, but chose to ultimately leave to focus on her passions. She is also very passionate about women and entrepreneurship and has some incredible advice for following your passion, even when things get tough, your mindset junk gets in the way, and you can't really see where you're going. Today, we're talking about how you can follow your passion in a way that aligns with your values, supports your relationships, and allows you to be the role model you want to be for your children and community.

For a bit of background, Amy is a busy mom of two and author of Passion to Purpose. She splits her time between leading Lady Strength, a growing online community of driven entrepreneurial women, growing an Airbnb business, and being a hands on CEO of Village Impact. Village impact partners with communities in rural Kenya to provide community led access to quality education and entrepreneurship opportunities. To date, this organization has built 14 schools that deliver education to nearly 5000 students daily.
