September 20-26 was #NationalMigrationWeek – a longstanding celebration and opportunity for the Church to reflect on the circumstances confronting migrants and refugees.  In this episode, we hear from J. Antonio Fernandez, President/CEO of Catholic Charities of San Antonio, who has years of experience in Catholic Charities leadership across the nation. He shares with Mary McCusker his perspectives and stories – many of which are not often not seen in the media.  He’s an incredibly insightful and inspiring leader who has seen migration first-hand at the border for years and has responded to the needs of many influxes of migrants who have come to our country. Give it a listen, and stay tuned to hear our other speakers who joined us this week!  #NMW2021

This episode’s interview was one of three Zoom presentations conducted by Catholic Charities of South Jersey during National Migration Week. To learn more, go to catholiccharitiescamden.org or to their Facebook or YouTube pages.
