The Author

Timothy Green is a British author From Chatham a town located within the Medway unitary authority in the ceremonial county of Kent, England. It would be fair enough of me to say that Timothy’s life at times has been an uphill struggle battling with mental health issues over a ten-year period that saw him in and out of various hospitals. In recent years a huge stabilizing influence in his life has been that of his fiancé Lena from South Africa. What unites the two of them is their passion not only for each other but their faith and poetry. When you have a look at the book, you’ll see just how much of these strengths come across. Yes, you can argue that Timothy’s creative mind has a huge influence in the poems but let me reassure you this book like all of Timothy’s books are a joint venture.

A person with a gentle nature is how Timothy best describes himself, he has a love of music as well and for him a good night out is a heavy jamming (impromptu musical) session in the local clubs and pubs. The stage life has often beckoned with musical tours but for the moment writing and publishing his poems is his present priority, and when you look at his poems, you’ll see why.

Quirky Story

My old friend and I were always there for each other. One night we went out and within the throng and all other activities we lost each other, I ended up at his parent’s house and he at my parent’s house. We had a strange relationship but spent a lot of time together. We thoroughly enjoyed video games, music, pubs, clubs, football, cadets, work and of course poker nights. What great times we had.

The Book

This book is a collection of some two hundred poetic verses, some of these poems have been uplifted from his other works but seventy of them are new. Some of them have a spiritual undertones stemming form Timothy’s own Christian beliefs others are simply breath-taking. Like all poetic/free verse writings there are simple compelling storylines hidden within the contents of all of Timothy’s wonderfully constructed verses.

Timothy has written six books in total all of which can be found on his webpage www.timothygreentimsir.com
