Film opens at the newly constructed Upper Yarra Dam east of Melbourne. The Upper Yarra Dam diversion tunnel can also be seen. Men racing pooh sticks along the Upper Yarra Aqueduct. Film then moves to the Yarra River in the Melbourne CBD where river boats (River Queen, St. Anne and St. Theresa) can be seen filled with passengers cruising along the Yarra River.
