Lisa Conyers is a co-author with Phil Harvey of-- Welfare for the Rich: How Your Tax Dollars End up in Millionaires' Pockets--and What You Can do About it".
Lisa focuses on the intersection between economic policy and real-world outcomes. Her passion is explaining complex economic issues to the layman. In this new book she focuses on welfare, trade, and regulatory policy, on state and federal tax subsidies, zoning issues, tax and banking policy. The book came out just before the Federal emergency business loans were offered--which will be the focus of the next investigation. The book will be the subject of a PBS documentary next spring.
