In this episode, I discuss the healing power of dance, art, and movement therapy with Ramanda Brockett who's the only currently active Registered Dance Movement Therapist in the Kansas City Metro area. Brockett specializes in trauma recovery for women and children and currently works through a Nonprofit Community Mental Health organization. She also serves as the Chairwoman of Kansas City MO's One Billion Rising Rally, a community arts gathering that focuses on raising awareness of violence against and exploitation of women and girls.
