On this episode of the SEID podcast we’re joined by the creators of The Tooth Bank, Monil Mehta, Eric Bender, and Raul Molina. They are all dental students at the University of Pittsburgh and had a helping hand in the organization's foundation and growth. The Tooth Bank is a non-profit that both collects teeth for dental students to use during their dental school curriculum, and is providing resources to help dental students achieve success both in and out of the classroom. In this episode we talk about what The Tooth Bank is and how it got started, what kinds of resources are available to students to use now and in the future, and the struggles of dental students and what we can do about it.
